Seletar Airport

Seletar Airport has the unique distinction of being the first international airport of Singapore. The airport is located in Seletar and is under the control of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. A lot of schemes for up gradation of the airport has been taken in 2007. JTC Corporation has a plan to upgrade the airport to support the Seletar Aerospace Park. According to this plan the length of the airport is to be increased from its present length of 1,800 meters. The avionics system is also all set for an up gradation to help in the landing of the bigger aircrafts.
