The Nasher Sculpture Garden

 

TThe Nasher Sculpture Garden at the Guggenheim Museum exhibits a collection of sculptors that matches well with the museum’s permanent collection. This garden offers a view of great works of art of painters like, Consagra, Ernst, Giacometti, Holzer, Arp, Richier, Graham, Hamak, Kapoor, Merz, Mir?, Moore, Paladino, Duchamp-Villon, Minguzzi, Calder, Yoko Ono, David Smith, and Takis.

 

The Gianni Mattioli Collection

 

This permanent exhibition of modern art features the internationally recognized collection of Gianni Mattioli. Featuring 26 masterpieces of Italian art covering the period of 1949 – 1953 is a major highlight of the museum. This collection dates back to September 1996. The compilation include representation of Italian Futurism, such as Umberto Boccioni's Materia and Dynamism of a Cyclist; Carlo Carr's Interventionist Demonstration; Luigi Russolo's The Solidity of Fog; and other paintings by Balla, Severini, Sironi, Soffici, Rosai, Depero, Morandi, and a portrait by Modigliani.
