  • Adelaide International Guitar Festival 2010
    Venue: Adelaide Festival Center
    Date: Nov 25-28, 2010

    The Adelaide International Guitar Festival, 2010 will begin in November 25 and will last for four days until 28 November. The festival is world renowned for music and creativity and for musical performances of guitar and other instruments. Artists and amateur musicians from all over the world participate in this festival.

    In these four days, the international event will feature 50 national and international musicians and guitarists. There will be around 16 performances and 3 premier ones from Australian local bands. Post performance programs in the festival include master classes, artist talks, and panel discussions for audiences. Low cost workshops will also be conducted.

    Two grand masters of classical guitar, Manuel Barrueco and Yamandú Costa will be present on 27 November in the Festival Theatre. The event will make the day for music lovers.

  • Lavazza Italian Film Festival 2010
    Venue: Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas
    Date: October 13-27, 2010

    This is among the nation's popular film festivals that started 11 years back. An initiative of the Palace Cinemas, this national event takes place in six Australian cities. The eleventh edition is scheduled to take place in Adelaide from 13 October to October 27. The movie buffs are going to enjoy some of the classic and contemporary movies of Italy.     The 2010 event would highlight Italian cinema by screening around 20 movies over four days.
